12/3/06-I have opened a shop on Etsy to sell some of my sculptures- bluedogrose.etsy.com . So far the response has been very positive, so I have been making more sculpture when I can. I have a big rabbit painting in the works as well.

11/26/06 I am sending a dozen little wire bird sculptures to Frank and Dunya ( 3418 Fremont Avenue N., Seattle, WA . (206) 547-6760 . Sun-Mon 10 A.M.-6 P.M., Tues-Sat 10 A.M.- 7 P.M. ), for sale while suppies last! Also finished a rabbit painting this weekend and am working on another. The paint is still wet but you get the idea.

11/3/06-I just sent some work to the Huneck Gallery in Breckenridge including Love is for the Birds and Shadowplay, amongst other dog related art, both paintings and sculpture. I am hoping for a good response, since many of the pieces have never been displayed before.
My studio is still not workable, at least for painting, so I have been playing around and "painting" photoshop. Inspired by the books I'm (re)reading I created a few illustrations. You can see them here.

10/15/06 I updated the bio page to show my current tastes in music and answered a couple new questions about me. Also put up a new photograph of me, I hate having my picture taken so this is "self portrait behind a dog". My studio is STILL being worked with the water damage, so no new art to share at this time. I have many new painting ideas I hope to put brush to canvas before the year is over.

Two new paintings uploaded to the painting page, and new poems to the writings page.

7/19/06-I am working on some new paintings, unfortunately there was a leak in my studio ceiling which turns out to be a much bigger water damage problem that needs to be addressed. Luckily, no artwork was damaged, but some art making needs to be put on hold until there's no more leaks. I have lots of sculpture to paint and photograph, so maybe that's the next project to tackle. With luck this site will be updated when the repairs are done and I can start working again.

7/1/06-I have added to my blog on myspace, not a lot but you get the idea. I have been working on new paintings, but none I am happy about enough to post, as well as learning some new scripting tricks from a web class I am taking and building websites. Work never ends and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to get anything done, but I hope to have new images soon of what I've been up to. We were also lucky enough to adopt a new dog whom we call Laika. She's a rare miniature German Shepherd.

5/26/06- I have donated some pieces for the Pet Art 8 auction to benefit Paws/LA a wonderful organization in Los Angeles that helps people with disabling life-threatening or terminal illnesses to continue to care for their pets. Pieces include the sculpture Mare and oal as well as the painting Good Morning, Captain. Auction will be held this fall, more info soon. I am also working on some new paintings and sculpture for a show in November in Colorado. Details to follow.

4/8/06 Some sad news in that our old dog Tuco passed away a couple weeks ago. We will miss her. I have been working a lot in the garden, and uploaded some new pages from my sculpture garden journal. Also started another new painting of dogs and birds, check back soon.

3/25/06 Spring is here and I am gearing up for a busy summer with (hopefully) building a new studio and making sculpture in the garden. I just finished a new painting.

Which was inspired by a dream-vision I had at 5 am one morning. My interpretation is that "Oddstripe" is the name of the cat, but you can draw your own conclusions.
