I have been taking a break from the bunny book to work on some new sculpture ideas, you can see a few examples on my sculpture page. A half dozen more like them are in the works, but be patient. Not only do these rely on my years of experience sculpting with paper mache, but take many, many hours to create.
6/17/08 Just got my preview copy of SmartLab toys "Horse Drawing Studio" a cool book slash art set for the aspiring child slash horse artist. Oh, and it features my painting Bay by the Bay in the book (on the inside of the first page). No batteries required!
6/11/08 Just got word that one of my ACEO's will be the cover of Cardaddix magazine. Check it out! ACEO's or "Art Cards Editions and Originals" for the uninitiated, are pieces of artwork measuring the same as a standard playing card (2.5" x 3.5"or
6.4 cm x 8.9 cm). They are a great way to collect art by artist who may otherwise be out of your price range. I have more available in my Etsy shop.
I know I always say I have been busy, but again, I HAVE been busy. The LWR book is 90 % finished, I am just polishing up the details this month before finding the right publisher for it.
4/27/08- And now, for something completely different. I have created two videos of how I work, one showing a quick little rabbit painting and this one showing an overview of how I make a wire bird sculpture (actual sculpture takes about 20 minutes or more to make). This are my first video attempts and I've learned a lot making them, I hope to have more to share with you soon.
04/11/08 Just a brief update, I added a bit to the about me page. The new prints are in of my recent watercolors and are now available on Etsy, they turned out really great and some even look better than the original painting!
3/29/08 With the snow fall yesterday you would wonder if sprig really is coming or not. But the leaves on the trees say otherwise, as does the mud on my carpets. I am having some new limited edition prints made of my new paintings- Crossing the Lake being one of them, these should be on Etsy soon.
Also from Etsy forums I learned about this non-profit film crew trying to make a movie about the vanishing of the Bees. It's an interesting and terrifying subject, Check them out here~http://www.vanishingbees.com/
3/08/08 Spring is in the air! My chickadees (not mine but they live in my garden and I watch out for them) are busy singing their little hearts out and the daffodils that have not been run over by the dogs (and even some that have) are blooming. I for one, am not ready for Spring I have so much to do! I have been painting a lot of new pieces that I can't share with you yet (they are for the book) and due to popular request, I have added bunch of new buttons made with bunny art to my shop, as well as some limited edition prints of some new paintings.
Since Easter is coming up, remember to "Make Mine Chocolate!" Bunnies are a 10 year commitment, and chocolate tastes better anyway~

Hello Everyone! You may have noticed that I removed a few things from this site, namely my comix and garden pages. I'm afraid the upkeep was just too much for me to maintain and have archived them until I figure out what I want to do next. I have been so busy making new work and art for my as yet unnamed children's book that I haven't had much time to update this site! There is a lot in the works, in the meantime, check out these new supercool magnets I just put on Etsy.

I have archived 2007's adventures here if you would like to
read them. This year I am embarking on many new exciting
projects; a children's book about the adventures of the LWR,
new print and painting ideas, and a few surprises. Thank you
everyone for your support, especially for my friends at Etsy.com and on flickr. In the meantime, <- here is a brand
new painting of LWR in space.
Happy New Year!
